MAMBA (Marinette Area Mountain Bike Association) is pleased to announce that we are officially a local chapter of the International Mountain Bicycling Association.
By being a local partner of IMBA we will have access to resources that can help us build the mountain biking infrastructure in our area.

What does this mean for YOU?
Regarding the Highway 64 trails located west of Marinette, you may have noticed no trail maintenance is being done. The DNR is now requiring our group to sign a Land Use Agreement to be able to maintain the trails. Part of this agreement also requires MAMBA to carry a Liability Insurance Policy to cover members who would be working to maintain the trails.
The premium for this policy is approximately $900. When you join our new Chapter through IMBA you will be helping to pay this premium and ensure our trails are maintained.
With an individual membership, you pay $39 to IMBA. IMBA keeps $15 to help support their organization and the other $24 is sent directly to MAMBA. A family membership is $50 with $15 going to IMBA and $35 comes back to our local group
By joining IMBA, MAMBA can also offer a tax-deductible benefit to businesses that donate to MAMBA.
This is an exciting time for all of us trail users!
Please help us out to keep the 64 trails open by joining MAMBA’s new Chapter- Ride on!
